Trump promised a peaceful transfer of power

US President Donald trump has promised a peaceful transfer of power if he loses the upcoming presidential election. He said this on Sunday, September 27, RIA Novosti reports.
Nevertheless, the American leader expressed confidence in his victory. “I think we will win a great victory. There will be no transfer, because I can’t imagine us calling [it] a transfer if we win,” he said.
Recalling the arguments about a friendly transfer of power, trump assured that it, of course, will be.
Earlier, the current head of state named the only condition that will prevent him from being re-elected for a second term. According to him, this will only happen if “democratic rivals cheat on voting by mail.” The host of the White house called for reporting every case of voting fraud that was discovered and preventing the transfer of power, knowing that rivals rigged the results of the vote.
On September 24, trump said he would agree to leave peacefully if he lost the election to Democratic candidate Joe Biden and the Supreme court confirmed it. The leader of the Republican majority in the US Senate, Mitch McConnell, also assured that the transfer of power will take place in accordance with the established procedure.
Representatives of the Democratic party have repeatedly expressed doubts about the readiness of the current President to leave the White house in the event of an election defeat. For example, former us Secretary of state and democratic candidate for the 2016 presidential election, Hillary Clinton, noted that trump may try to challenge the election results, citing violations committed during postal voting. The main opponent of the American leader in the upcoming elections, former us Vice President Joe Biden, said that trump is waiting for a military coup if he refuses to admit defeat in the election.
